<2>The MacBook Neo vs. an Old MacBook Air: A Tough Decision Ahead2>
<3>Apple’s Latest Offering Sparks Debate3>
My first thought when Apple announced the MacBook Neo today was “okay, but why not just get an older Air?” If you’re thinking that too, you might be right. If you can find one.
The Neo starts at $599 with an A18 Pro processor, 8GB of memory, and 256GB storage, and ends at $699 with an A18 Pro processor, 16GB of memory, and 512GB storage.Snap up an older MacBook Air, on the other hand, and you might be able to snag one for under $500, depending on the model and condition. TechCrunch suggests that refurbished options are available, which could be a more affordable route.
However, there are some key differences between the two laptops that might make the Neo worth considering. For one, the Neo has a larger 14-inch display, compared to the Air’s 13.3-inch screen. Additionally, the Neo has a more powerful processor and more storage options.
