It is typically associated with older adults, with the majority of cases occurring in individuals over the age of 65. However, the latest data suggests that this trend is changing, with a growing number of younger adults being diagnosed with the disease.


The study, which was published in the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, analyzed data from over 150,000 individuals who were diagnosed with colorectal cancer between 2004 and 2014.
